Woodstock - Theft - March 18, 2019

On Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10:29 pm, the Woodstock Police Service received a report of a theft that occurred at the Mac’s Milk store located on Norwich Avenue in the City of Woodstock. 
Investigation revealed that an unknown male entered the store and selected several items. Prior to making a purchase at the front counter, the male fled the store in a red SUV vehicle. 
The suspect described as being approximately 35 year old, with a white/gray beard, wearing a red and black ball cap and a red and blue coat..

Beachville Rd - Break & Enter - March 11, 2019

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for a break, enter & theft in South-West Oxford Twp., Ont.

The Ontario Provincial Police Oxford Detachment responded to a report of a break, enter and theft at a Beachville Road, South-West Oxford address.

The break in occurred sometime during the late evening hours on March 9, 2019.  

Unknown suspect(s) entered the property by cutting the lock and chain that secured the gate.  Once inside the building, a cargo trailer was broken into by cutting the lock and numerous power tools were removed.

Police are hoping that anyone that may have seen anyone suspicious in the area during that time frame to call police to report it.
The investigation is continuing. 
Woodstock - Break & Enter - Feb. 8, 2019

Sometime on the 5th of February, 2019 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. unknown suspect(s) made entry to a home located on Bay Street in the City of Woodstock. Entry was made by crawling into an opening under the front porch, breaking a basement window and entering the home.    
Once inside, the suspect(s) made their way throughout the entire residence stealing a large quantity of jewelery.  The suspect(s) then left through the rear kitchen door.

Tillsonburg - Break & Enter and Theft - Jan. 21, 2019

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for a Break, Enter &Theft in Tillsonburg, Ont.

The Ontario Provincial Police Oxford Detachment responded to a report of a break, enter & theft from a mini storage complex situated on Moose Street in the Town of Tillsonburg.

The theft occurred between 8:20 p.m. on Sunday January 13th and 10:30 p.m. on Monday January 14, 2019.  

Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the property by cutting the fence to the compound and then cut the lock to the storage unit.  Over 200 collectable comic books and a unique 10 inch metal slot machine were removed. 

Police are hoping that anyone that may have seen anyone suspicious in the area during that time frame to call police to report it...
Woodstock - Theft - Jan. 18, 2019

Crime Stoppers of Oxford County and the Woodstock Police Service, are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a theft in the city of Woodstock.
 
The Woodstock Police Service continues with their investigation into the theft of a large quantity of lottery tickets stolen from a local Dundas Street business last week in the City of Woodstock. 
 
The theft occurred at a local convenience store in the west end of the City on January 1st, 2019 at approximately 05:32 am. The first male suspect entered the store and asked for four tickets to be printed off. When provided the tickets, the first male made his way to the back of the store. 
 
At this time, a second male suspect entered the store and asked the clerk with assistance in finding an item. While the clerk was distracted, the first suspect entered behind the front counter and removed a box containing numerous Lottery scratch tickets. The male then fled the store and the second suspect quickly left the store shortly afterwards. 
 
The first suspect is described as being a white male, wearing an Air Jordan 23 sweater, jogging pants, black toque and red and white shoes. 
 
The second suspect is described as being a white male wearing a black jacket, grey/green sweater, dark coloured pants and a black ball cap.
Zorra Twp - Theft - Aug. 21, 2018

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for a Theft in Zorra Twp.
 
The Ontario Provincial Police Oxford Detachment responded to a report of a theft from a business known as Angling Outfitters.
 
The theft occurred between 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on Thursday August 16, 2018. The business is located on Road 68 near the 45th Line in Zorra Township. 
 
Two suspect(s) entered the property and stole five Das King Nautilus kayaks with an estimated value of $14,000.
 
Police are hoping that anyone that may have seen anyone suspicious in the area during that time frame to call police to report it.
 
The investigation is continuing. 
Woodstock - Break & Enter - Aug. 14, 2018

Crime Stoppers of Oxford County and the Woodstock Police Service, are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a theft in the city of Woodstock.
 
On Monday August 13, 2018 the City of Woodstock Parks Department notified the Woodstock Police Service that sometime within the past two weeks the Automated External Defibrillator (A.E.D.) was stolen from the baseball diamond at Jack Dunn Park, located on the Community Complex property.

Woodstock - Failure to Remain Collision - Aug. 7, 2018

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) involved in a 2 vehicle fail to remain motor vehicle collision in East Zorra-Tavistock Twp., ON.
 
The Ontario Provincial Police Oxford Detachment responded on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at approximately 8:25 p.m. to a fail to remain 2 vehicle collision on Oxford Road 17 in East Zorra-Tavistock Township.
 
Through investigation it was revealed that a car was travelling westbound on Oxford Road 17 near the 13th Line (Pittock Park Road), when it was struck from behind by a pickup truck. The pickup truck then turned around and fled the scene eastbound towards the City of Woodstock.
 
The pickup truck is described as a blue, either Chevrolet or GMC, possibly a late 90’s model. The pickup truck had damage to the hood and it is believed to have had a red object in the truck’s box.
 
OPP still have no new information about this fail to remain collision and are seeking the public’s assistance to help solve this case.
 
The investigation is continuing.
Woodstock - Break & Enter - July 24, 2018

Crime Stoppers of Oxford County and the Woodstock Police Service, are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a Break and Enter in the city of Woodstock.
 
Sometime between 3:00 p.m on July 6th and 8:00 a.m.on July 9th, 2018 unknown suspect(s) stole a silver 2006 enclosed cargo trailer parked on Arthur Parker Drive in the city of Woodstock.  The trailer contained a large number of carpentry tools including:
 
1 three-pump eagle compressor, 1 small Makita electric compressor, several air guns, 2 gas cans, 6 roof harnesses, 8 Dewalt skill saws as well as several Dewalt drills or impact drills.

Woodstock - Break & Enter - July 17, 2018

Crime Stoppers of Oxford County and the Woodstock Police Service, are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a Break and Enter in the city of Woodstock.

Sometime between 6:00 p.m on July 6th and 8:00 a.m.on July 9th, 2018 unknown suspect(s) entered a building under construction on Commercial Way in the city of Woodstock.  The doors had been secured by particle board scewed to the door frame. Suspects forced the board away from the door frame and entered the building.  A large number of tools were inside this building.  
 
Items taken were a DeWalt Radio and 20v battery, roll of 12/2 wire, roll of 12/3 wire, roll of NMD 12/2 wire, 2 rolls of CAT6 wire, a DeWalt 20v skilsaw, a DeWalt 20v grinder, a DeWalt 20v Sawzall, a Milwaukee Deep Impact Socket set, 2 20v Milwaukee batteries, a Husky Socket set, 6 boxes of LED wall lights and a tool box with various hand tools.
