Tillsonburg - Motor Vehicle Hit and Run - Feb. 20, 2018

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a motor vehicle that struck a pregnant pedestrian on the 16th of February 2018 at around 11:30am
 
This collision occurred on Lisgar Avenue east of VanNorman Drive in the Town of Tillsonburg.  The female pedestrian was struck when she attempted to cross the street at the section where the street curved.
 
As the result of the collision the victim was momentarily rendered unconscious and awoke to an unknown pedestrian offering her assistance. Due to the shock of the incident, the victim left the scene and contacted family. She was taken to a hospital where she was treated and released.  
 
The police were called approximately an hour after the incident. The victim was not able to give a description of the vehicle or direction of travel. Police canvassed the area with negative results.
 
Police are continuing to investigate these incidents.
Woodstock - Failure to Remain Collision - Feb. 13, 2018

Crime Stoppers of Oxford County and the Woodstock Police Service are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a Fail to Remain Collision in the city of Woodstock.

On Monday, January 29th, 2018 shortly before 1:00 p.m. a white pickup truck was travelling west on Brant St. when it collided with a car and a fire hydrant.  The pickup truck did not stop and proceeded west near Light Street where it then struck a second vehicle and again did not stop.  The truck continued and struck a third unoccupied vehicle that was parked in a driveway.  The truck was last observed westbound on Brant Street west of Light Street.

The suspect vehicle will have significant damage to the front end, driver’s side and passenger’s side of the vehicle.

Norwich Twp - Break & Enter - Jan. 23, 2018

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for the crime of break, enter and theft at a Norwich Township residence on sometime overnight of the 13th and 14th of January 2018, Oxford County, Ontario.
 
Unknown suspect(s) entered the farm property sometime between 5:30 p.m on Saturday the 13th of January 2018 and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday the 14th of January 2018.  The suspect(s) entered a barn and stole a 2014 Canam 650 Quad, black and yellow in colour and various power tools. The total value of the theft was around $10,000 dollars
 
Police are continuing to investigate this incident.

Woodstock - Break & Enter - Jan. 9, 2018

On Sunday, January 7, 2018 shortly before 4:00 a.m suspects attempted to break into the Home Hardware on Dundas St. in the City of Woodstock. The suspects rammed the front of their truck into the entrance gate of the outside lumber storage area. After knocking the gate down the truck sped off east bound through the parking lot.
 
Shortly after 4:00 a.m. Police received an alarm to attend the Sunrise Varierty on Springbank Avenue. Police arrived to find the rear door has sustained damage. At 9:00 a.m. Police received a call for a power outage at Woodstock Pizza and Pasta in the same plaza on Sprinbank Ave. The suspects had tampered with the power to the business but did not gain entry.
 
On the same day before 6:00 a.m. a fourth business, the Pancake House, located on Juliana Drive suffered a power outage. Suspects gained entry to this business and stole cash. 
 
Police believe that these investigations are related and are seeking assistance locating a suspect vehicle described as;  White, Ford F250 or 350, 4 door crew cab pickup truck, with side steps, a yellow  flashing light on the driver's side roof, tinted windows, fender flares and a Metal Mulisha decal on sides of box.

Break, Enter & Mischief - East Zorra Twp - Jan. 2, 2018

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for the crime of break, enter and mischief at an area farm on December 17, 2017, in East Zorra-Tavistock Township, Oxford County, Ontario.
 
Unknown suspect(s) entered the farm property sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday December 17, 2017. Once inside, the suspects released 2,500 pigs from their stalls within the barn.  All of the pigs were found still contained within the barn by the owner at approximately 7:00 p.m.
 
Police are continuing to investigate this incident.

Zorra Twp - ATV Theft - Dec. 18, 2017

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Oxford County Detachment along with Oxford Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the culprit(s) who stolen an all-terrain vehicle from a residence in Zorra Township.
 
Oxford OPP received a report of a stolen all-terrain vehicle (ATV) from Road 74, Zorra Township.
 
On Monday, November 27, 2017 at approximately 3:16 p.m., police received a report of a theft of an ATV from a barn at a residence on Road 74, between the 15th and 19th Line.
 
The stolen ATV is described as a white, 2016 CAN AM, model XRM, with an LED light bar on the front, and attached licence plate # 22YS8. (See attached photo of similar model of ATV)
Ingersoll - Break & Enter - Dec. 6, 2017

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the culprit(s) responsible for a break, enter and theft on Thames Street South in the Town of Ingersoll.
 
The incident occurred at the business property on Thames Street South between St. Andrew Street and Victoria Street in Ingersoll. It is believed to have occurred between 11:00 am on Sunday, November 12, 2017 and 7:30 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017.
 
Unknown suspect(s) entered into the locked compound and broke into one of the storage buildings on site. 
 
The approximate value of the stolen contents is estimated at over $35,000. The items taken included:
 
JOHN DEERE Riding Lawnmower, Green in color with a trailer hitch - $15,000
HONDA gas-powered pressure washer, Red in color - $2,500
TANEM 14 inch landscape trailer, Black in color with a wood floor - $2,500
Tool Chest, 4 foot by 3 foot by 18 inches, wood top on wheels - $4,000
STIHL gas-powered cut saw, Orange in color - $1,000
STIHL chainsaw, Orange in color - $400
STIHL leaf blower, Orange in color - $400
STIHL weed-trimmer with attachments - $1,000
STIHL Hedge trimmer, Orange in color - $200
Portable diesel welder, Blue in color, new condition - $7,000
Welding cable, 15 feet, Black in color - $1,000
Three bottle jacks, painted Red - $75 each ($225 total)
Hydraulic water pump - unknown value
Blue RUBBERMAID container filled with drywall and cement tools - unknown value
Four 5-gallon jerry cans with fuel - unknown value
Two 220 volt heaters, white in color - unknown value

Woodstock - Break & Enter - Nov. 29, 2017

On November 25th, 2017 sometime between 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm a residence on Tupper Gardens was broken into.  The unknown suspects stole a number of electronic items along with clothing and jewelry.   The value of the stolen property is estimated to be in excess of $5000.

Woodstock - Break & Enter - Nov. 23, 2017

Sometime overnight from November 7th to November 8th, 2017 several vehicles were damaged and had items stolen from them while parked on local car lots including a Woodstock Police vehicle. The suspects caused outages to the lighting on the lots in an effort to conceal their activities. Stolen were two sets of wheels and tires along with a number of pieces of equipment from the police cruiser including a defibrillator and a First Aid Kit. The total value of the thefts is estimated at $20 000. 
Golf Course Damage - Tillsonburg - Nov. 21, 2017

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the culprit(s) responsible for a mischief incident which occurred sometime overnight between Saturday November 11th and 3:00PM on Sunday November 12th 2017, at the Bridges Golf Course on John Pound Road in Tillsonburg.
 
Unknown suspect(s) entered onto the property and caused significant damage to the greens and tee-boxes on holes twelve through fifteen.
The damage was caused when All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) drove onto the course and intentionally ripped up the course with their vehicles.
 
The damages are estimated to be in the amount of $40,000. The investigation is continuing.
